There's a lot of farriers who love this rasp, I see tons of advertising for them all over on facebook and even had to buy a bunch of these for school however they never felt quite right to me personally. As a working farrier now, these things stay very grabby for me to a point where I dread having to use it. There's a small window when they are "nice" to me before they end up turning into a finish rasp. The "fine" side to these are actually pretty nice when they are new, and they leave a nice looking finish to the hoof, key word, when they are new. Otherwise same kind of issue I find when these turn into a finish rasp, my last one lasted a week in the "finish rasp" phase before I found I was working too hard and taking too little.
