DIAMOND MAXGLIDE HOOF RASP
The innovative Diamond Max Glide easily flattens and finishes the hoof with little effort. The rasp is 10% wider than the standard rasp and nicely balanced from the base. The rasp side is made up of rows of 9 long-lasting sharp teeth that are slightly smaller than the average tooth. This allows the rasp to remove more horn material in one movement with minimal pressure on the blade. The tooth pattern prevents clogging of the rasp. The file side is designed with a chip breaker that ensures smooth filing without clogging the file with hoof material.

Worthwhile investment

Not a bad rasp. The mill cut on the finish side takes a little getting used to. Holds up pretty good. Overall worth the money

Stays sharp for a long time , 20+ horses in and still sharp as ever

This rasp at the time I'm reviewing it is 38 dollars, versus the old price being 27 dollars. I got this rasp for free to try out from Diamond Value aside, this rasp I've been using for a month on my horses and it's stayed sharper for way longer then I remember my Excel Legends staying sharp for. It's a very grabby rasp that still manages to take off an ok amount of material off of very hard hooves and not loose the edge on them. I'm still on the same rasp over the last month and I feel that only now after 20+ horses it's at a point where it's "broken in"
