Hands down my favorite rasp! In my opinion, it is better than the green rasp from another popular brand. I even sold one to a client who trims her horses in between, and she thought it was a sweet rasp too. It's pretty aggressive. It pulls really smooth. I can rasp around the toe easily without this rasp catching, and the file side leaves a nice, buttery smooth finish. Which makes my finish work better. I find the hooves chip less between trims, because the edges are so smooth. I have also gotten up to 45 trims out of some of these rasps. So they last too. Will be back for more. I should note I prefer the Black Blade version for really wet, muddy conditions.

I use these on the daily now for our horses that we do. These rasps are pretty awesome, pull well, I feel the same about the black rasp. The concern about them going dull rather quick compared to other rasps can be subsided by sharpening them on the buffer wheel, these sharpen slightly better then other rasps in my experience
